What is the eligibility year?
Products and project entries must have been released and in commercial use during the current eligibility year, July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025.
How much does it cost to submit a product nomination?
It’s free!
When will Finalists be announced?
The Finalists will be announced on September 4, 2025.
When is the voting period to select the winners?
The voting period runs from December 1, 2025 to January 12, 2026
When will the winners be announced?
At the TEC Awards!
When will the TEC Awards ceremony be held in 2026?
The TEC Awards will be held during NAMM week, January 20-24, 2026. More details will be provided as the show gets closer.
What is the dress attire?
Studio chic.

What day is the TEC Awards?

Where are the TEC Awards held and how do I get there?
The TEC Awards will be held at the Convention Center at ACC Ballroom on Level 3. If you are facing the main entrance of the convention center the ballroom will be inside and to the right. Look for signage!
What time does the events start?
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for Sponsors and VIPs and 6:00 p.m. for General Admission. The program will start at 6:15 p.m.
Will dinner be served?
No, but we will offer heavy hors d’oeuvres for sponsors and VIPs.
Are there any special awards and will there be a live performance?
Yes, RZA is receiving the inaugural NAMM-TEC Innovation Award. DJ Scratch will be performing.
Do I have to buy tickets to attend? Will tickets be available on Saturday?
Yes, you do need to buy tickets to attend: https://NAMMtecawards2024.eventbrite.com. Tickets will be available for purchase unless we are sold out.
I am a TEC Finalist. Do I need to purchase tickets?

Do I have to be registered for NAMM to attend the TEC Awards?

How do I get into the convention center after 6:00 p.m.?
It is recommended you enter through the front of Anaheim Convention Center through the Grand Plaza. There will be a sign indicating which door to use for TEC Awards special event entry. Please have your NAMM Show Badge and/or TEC Awards ticket confirmation to show security.
