Well, this year’s TEC will be a little different. Our shorter and club-like event will create a new way to connect, catch up with industry friends, and meet new ones, all while celebrating the innovations that drive audio excellence.

When’s the Event?

The event will run from 6–7:30 pm (instead of 3 hours or more!).

You won’t have to sit through hours of awards, instead winners will be honored with a special video presentation. A red-carpet VIP area will help all attendees, finalists, and winners document the moment and share with their audiences.

How Much Does It Cost?

As long as you're registered for your NAMM Show badge, no admission tickets will be required. Just come, bring your badge, and enjoy the celebration.

You’ll connect with audio and live event professionals, along with the next generation of industry talent, at The NAMM Show’s ultimate mixer in a night-club style layout.

For a VIP experience, consider getting involved through a sponsorship opportunity. VIPs will have limited seating and cocktail-style “high-boy” tables to ensure a gathering spot for you and your crew.

Think of it as a social hour at your neighborhood bar with all of your closest pro audio friends.

Will There Be Food and Drink?

There will be no seated dinner, but a cash bar will be available. Appetizers and drink wristbands will also be available for VIPs.

What About the Music?

We will be giving a nod to the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop, honoring Chuck D (Public Enemy) and GrandMixer DXT with special performances by Resonant Alien, Mike Relm, and special guests.

Why Are We Doing This?

The condensed timeframe will allow all attendees to enjoy highlights of the TEC Awards, while still enjoying a night of networking around the NAMM Campus and Southern California. After all, we know there is tons of stuff to do during The NAMM Show.
